Poor little kitties

We went to our new house on Saturday so I could see the cabinets that were just installed (love them by the way). Anyways, to make a long story short, I observed a lady dumping a tote full of kittens. We got her license plate info and even a few pictures to document this disturbing crime. She will now be heading to court, facing a misdemeanor on her record, and a fine of some sorts. We spent nearly an hour trying to recover the kittens. Sadly, we were only able to find one. The rest don't have great chances as she dropped them off in our subdivision which currently has no occupants and there are no houses real close. It's no secret that I'm not into cats at all, but that was so mean. Braeden named the cat Garfield and I hope animal rescue finds him a good home.

Last week on Saturday, the lady that works in the model home observed another crime--an R-rated crime I might add. Let's just say that a middle aged married couple will be facing a charge of public nudity. This happened early Saturday afternoon last week--about the same time of day as the kitty incident in the same exact spot--right in front of our driveway on our dead end street.

I hope we're not moving into a heavy crime area!

What are people thinking? The cat story is just sad and the other crime just makes me want to say "Really?", like the segment Seth Myers does on Saturday Night Live during the weekly news update.

Awww...Braeden looks so cute with the kitty. Too bad he can't keep "Garfield"....ha! Love your house too. You will be in it before you know it. Hope all the final stuff goes without a hitch.
