Never in a million years...

I would have never thought that I would be anxious for John McCain's birthday--Aug. 29th. But, I am because that's the day he's going to announce his VP pick. JP and I are getting anxious and are now back to following politics on a more regular basis. We are still hoping for MITT! Obama will be making his announcement in the next day or two. That could be interesting. This is seriously the most interesting election. I think the Presidential debates are going to be worth watching. If you're not into it now, you will be or should be. I seriously think this is a really important election--with the war and the economy especially.

Elliptical in mint condition for sale

If anyone's interested in purchasing an elliptical machine, just let us know. It's in great condition and hasn't been used much. We both realized that we just aren't so great at working out at home. There are just too many distractions and interuptions. Plus, I'd rather run outside and Jeff would rather bike outside. I'm not sure what we're going to price it at, but it was $400 brand new and is about 3 years old.

The County Fair

We really love our local county fair. It is a relatively small fair and I think that's what we like about it. We took the boys to go on the carnival rides on Weds. There were no lines and they had wristbands so they could go on the rides as much as they wanted. They had sooo much fun. Then last night we went for our traditional navajo tacos (real healthy, I know) and to do the free stuff (which there's actually a lot of--another reason why we like this fair).

Camping

We went on a one night camping trip. Braeden said his favorite part was roasting marshmellows for S'Mores! We initally planned to be there two nights, but after a long night with little sleep, we decided to head home. We did some short hikes and the boys mostly had fun throwing rocks in the lakes.

Bath Time

Had to get a picture of all three of them in the tub together for the first time. Tanner finally likes baths. I think he actually likes being with his bros!

Tanner hits a few milestones!

Before his 8 month b-day, Tanner started scooting (army crawling) around. Right away he was trying to get up on his knees to crawl. About a week later he started crawling. He has now figured out how to get in a sitting position on his own. He can almost pull himself up to stand at the side of his crib. He is often on his knees holding onto the side of the crib. He is a much happier kid now. I think he enjoys his mobility. He has kind of been a fussy little guy, so it's nice to see a happy Tanner.
