I would have never thought that I would be anxious for John McCain's birthday--Aug. 29th. But, I am because that's the day he's going to announce his VP pick. JP and I are getting anxious and are now back to following politics on a more regular basis. We are still hoping for MITT! Obama will be making his announcement in the next day or two. That could be interesting. This is seriously the most interesting election. I think the Presidential debates are going to be worth watching. If you're not into it now, you will be or should be. I seriously think this is a really important election--with the war and the economy especially.

I'm interested to know what Jeff's family thinks of McCain (they being from AZ and all). I am crossing my fingers for Mitt in the VP spot, but from what I am hearing lately I don't know if he will be chosen. I am anxiously awaiting as well. Happy election year!
Thanks for being a political junkie with me Jen. Jeff's family doesn't have the highest opinion of McCain. He really doesn't seem to be all that popular in AZ from what we hear. He definitely was not my top pick. He drove me nuts during the debates. However, I have had to accept the fact that he's the best candidate and hope that he picks a good running mate to make me feel better about the ticket.
Ok Alice. Now that the running mate has been announced, I want to hear you and JP's breakdown of things.
